I have been sewing for many years off and on. Halloween costumes were the focus over the years. It was a way to make what my kids could imagine, from The Little Mermaid, to Knights in shining armor, we went there. The latest request was for some sweet bat wings.
I have so much fun in trying to figure out how to make something, and now I have a place to write about it, or whatever comes to mind, who knows, someone out there may find some useful bits!

Fast forward to Covid times. Masks were needed at hospitals and it was time to dig the sewing machine out again, I could do that! I made stacks and in the process I decided I should leave my machine out and not packed away in the garage. Long story short, my son's old room became my sewing / virtual classroom to my second grade students. One side of the desk for class, and the other a dedicated space for sewing! Look how stuffed in, that quilt looks under my old machine, haha!to sew, so why not get my machine out and see what I could do?making stacks of masks, and hen when school started back
up, I had set up my work space, so that I could sew on on side, and have my virtual 2nd grade classroom o the other side:
I started an Etsy shop that I had thought about for years. The idea I had for the name of my shop came from a picture of a kilt wearing collie I had seen. My add would be sunglasses, well this is where we landed: Mac the Collie, complete with a plaid ribbon to hold my scissors!
